Laurie is the original founder of Dapper Dog. She has been grooming and showing poodle of all sizes with her mother since she was a young girl. After working as a professional dog groomer for many years she finally opened Dapper Dog in 2014.

In her spare time she enjoys collecting antiques, such as dolls and other cool finds, as well as grooming her standard poodles to show in competitions. She also enjoys sewing and doing any kind of craft!

Our newest member to the Dapper Dog team is Chelsea. She followed in her mother and grandmother foot steps with a passion for animals. Since the age of 10 she has been showing and grooming dog with her mother. In 2011 she started her career in veterinary medicine for 10 years as a kennel assistant to veterinary assistant and finally to office manager.

In 2021 she came to join her mother working full at Dapper Dog and LOVES it!

In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her own three dogs, two cats and 8 chickens as well as training her Labrador to retrieve birds for competitions.
